Common questions
Why not just use an online AI?
An online AI gives information, but your documents go to its servers, and it doesn't keep track of your results. KlairBio analyses everything on your phone, follows your values over time, and tells you when it isn't sure instead of making things up.
Are my results sent anywhere?
No. The analysis happens entirely on your phone. No health data is transmitted, either to us or to a service provider.
Can KlairBio tell me if I'm ill?
No, and that's deliberate. KlairBio explains what each value measures and where you stand. Medical interpretation is for your doctor.
Does it work with my lab?
The app recognises the layout of documents, not laboratories. It works with the formats common in France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom and Ireland. If a document can't be read, it tells you clearly.
What if I change phones?
As your data is stored only on your device, you can create an encrypted backup and restore it on the new one. That is the trade-off of choosing ‘nothing in the cloud’.
KlairBio serves an educational purpose. It helps you understand your results. It never replaces your doctor, your lab scientist, your pharmacist or any other healthcare professional.
